ACB surveillance on medical board process in Singareni employee’s unfit issue
Anti-corruption Bureau (ACB) has stepped in to prevent fraudsters in Singareni employees medical unfit process. On the request of Chairman and MD Mr. N. Balaram, ACB has taken up special surveillance.
Mr. N. Balaram, Chairman and MD has taken key steps to make the medical board process of invalidation of the Singareni workers suffering from illness stricter and more transparent. As a part of this, it has been decided to take the cooperation of the Anti-Corruption Department to stop those who are deceiving the workers. Recently, ACB DGP Shri C.V.Anand appealed to this extent. ACB also appealed to pay special attention to the medical board.
In this context, on the orders of ACB DGP, a team of officials led by Ummadi Khammam District ACB DSP Mr. Ramesh met CMD Mr. N. Balaram at Kottagudem on Monday evening. On this occasion, ACB officials and Singareni officials thoroughly reviewed the process of the medical board.
On this occasion Mr. N. Balaram said that they will take action in the matter of the medical board and explained to the ACB officials that some employees who took the money have already been dismissed. Also, others said that they are ready to register criminal cases against anyone who has collected money from the workers.
He said that the vigilance department of the organization is also monitoring the medical board. However, it has been revealed that ACB is seeking cooperation with the intention of having a stronger surveillance.
On this occasion, ACB officials said that they will keep a special vigil on the movements of suspicious employees in the organization. ACB has been asked to bring their information to the attention of ACB if anyone asks for money saying that they will unfit the workers. He said that he will provide full assistance to realize the ownership idea of conducting the Singareni Medical Board process in a transparent manner.
