Telangana: Governor celebrates statehood day of Manipur, Meghalaya, and Tripura at Raj Bhavan in Hyderabad

Telangana Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundarajan celebrated the statehood day of Manipur, Meghalaya, and Tripura at Raj Bhavan in Hyderabad. The event, under the umbrella of “Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat ”, aimed to cherish, revive, and resolve the rich history, commitment, and future of these three Northeastern states.

Speaking on the occasion, the governor said the celebration embodied the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi fostering cultural connections through ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat.’ The governor said the program enhances interaction and mutual understanding, embracing diversity in language, traditions, tourism, sports, and best practices.

Highlighting the beauty of the Northeast, the Governor urged reflection on Manipur, Meghalaya, and Tripura’s history, culture, and heritage. The governor also emphasized the need for northeastern states to be the center of attraction for national and international tourists.
