Chhattisgarh- maternal birthplace of Lord Ram, all set to celebrate Ramotsav

There is an atmosphere of overwhelming enthusiasm in Chhattisgarh also regarding the Shri Ram Lala Pran Pratishtha to be held in Ayodhya today. Many programs are being organized across the state today.

Chhattisgarh is considered to be the maternal birthplace of Lord Ram. There is a temple of Mata Kaushalya in Chandkhuri near the capital Raipur. Ramotsav will be celebrated here today. Twenty-one thousand lamps will be lit in the temple premises.

People and students will be able to watch the live telecast of Pran-Pratishtha through LED screens in all the ashrams, and hostels under the Tribal Development Department as well as various places of the state. Fifty-five artists have created an attractive rangoli of Lord Shri Ram using fifty-five kilos of paddy and five hundred kilos of rice in the Science College ground of Raipur.
