BJP Holds First Meeting of Cluster In-charges for Lok Sabha Election Preparation
BJP national president J P Nadda Yesterday chaired the party’s first meeting of cluster In-charges in New Delhi as part of its preparation for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Senior party leader and Union Home Minister Amit Shah and party national general secretary (organisation) B L Sathosh also attended the meeting and adressed party officials and leaders. More than 300 party leaders including cluster in-charges and co-in-charges were present in the meeting.
The BJP has appointed cluster in-charges in over 110 clusters nationwide, including party officials and leaders. The party has designated Ministers from state governments as in-charges in several states. Leaders from each state, along with the party’s national general secretary and senior leaders attended the first meeting today.
Party sources said that all these cluster in-charges and co-in-charges will visit their respective Lok Sabha constituencies to discuss and provide information on the Narendra Modi government’s welfare schemes in collaboration with party leaders.
Speaking to media party, general secretary Vinod Tawde said, these 300 special workers will work towards making the candidates of BJP and its allies win. He said, BJP President and Home Minister held a meeting with them and time table was prepared. Mr Tawde said, this includes when and how to get in touch with the beneficiaries and women, youth, SCs, STs and OBCs.
