Visitors seen converging in droves at Bhadarwah valley to enjoy bright sunshine in snow filled Alps

With entire Northern India reeling under severe cold and dense fog with the sun not visible for days at a stretch, visitors are seen converging in droves at Bhadarwah valley in the Doda district of Jammu Division to enjoy the bright sunshine in the snow-filled Alps.

Tourists from different parts of the country say that it is a dual treat for them as after missing the warmth of the sun for the last 15 days they are enjoying both bright sunshine and a white carpet of snow in Bhadarwah.

Some visitors from Rajasthan, UP, and Delhi said that they are seeing the sun for the first time in 2024 at Bhadarwah as there is fog everywhere. Locals associated with the tourism industry and small-time vendors are a happier lot as they are doing brisk business.
