In Jammu and Kashmir, a fresh forest fire has raged in the Dehra Ki Gali (DKG) forests in the Thanna Mandi area of Rajouri district after it engulfed the forest area of Nar, Bhata Dhurian.
The fire was spreading rapidly in the area. A firefighting operation has been launched by forest protection staff in the area.
Assistant Director Forest Protection Force, Masood Choudhary said that forest department and forest protection department personnel are working to control the fire.
