Hyderabad: GITAM Awards Ph.D. to K.Vasudha for Research in Green Human Resource Management and Organization’s Sustainability
The GITAM Deemed-to-be University is proud to announce that K. Vasudha has been awarded a Ph.D in Management for her groundbreaking research on the effectiveness of Green Human Resource Management (GHRM) practices on organization’s sustainability in IT organizations at Hyderabad, Telangana.
Under the guidance of Dr. V.Parvathi, Research Supervisor and Assistant Professor at GITAM School of Business, Hyderabad, Vasudha’s thesis titled “A study on the Effectiveness of Green Human Resource Management (GHRM) Practices on Organization’s Sustainability in IT Organizations at Hyderabad, Telangana” has received high praise for its efficiency, robustness, and potential applicability to different industries.
The integration of environmental sustainability principles into HRM practices within organizations, known as Green HRM, has the potential to significantly reduce carbon footprints, promote the use of energy-efficient technologies, and foster a culture of environmental responsibility in the workplace. Vasudha’s research has highlighted the positive impact of implementing green HRM practices in IT organizations, aligning with global efforts to address climate change and contribute to economic, social, and environmental development.
The achievement of K. Vasudha has been celebrated and appreciated by Prof. D.S.Rao, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, GITAM, Hyderabad, DVVSR Verma, Resident Director, department heads and faculty.
