Karnataka: BJP and Congress Outline Lok Sabha Election Strategies in Bengaluru Meetings
In Karnataka, both BJP and Congress parties held meetings in Bengaluru today on the Lok Sabha election strategy. Speaking to the media persons later, former Union Minister D V Sadananda Gowda informed that constituency specific strategies will be worked out by BJP for the forthcoming Lok Sabha election.
He said minor differences and muddle, if any, in a few constituencies will be cleared within a few days. After the Cluster level meeting in Bengaluru, BJP state President B Y Vijyendra will hold meetings in each of the 28 Lok Sabha constituencies and collect feedback from the party leaders and workers.
Addressing media persons after a meeting in Bengaluru today, Deputy Chief Minister and state party President D K Shivakumar informed that a minister is made incharge of one Lok Sabha constituency who will be assisted by party Vice Presidents, General Secretaries and legislative Council members.
The party workers Convention will be organised on December 21st where the ministers, district and block level party Presidents, Cooperative sector representatives, office bearers, booth level representatives and Gram Panchayat members from the party will participate.
Guarantee programme beneficiaries conferences will be organised across the state. Shivakumar said that at every doorstep, programme is being planned and guarantee beneficiaries will be given ID cards by the Congress party functionaries soon.
