Kidambi Srikanth enters second round of Malaysia Open Badminton tournament in Kuala Lumpur
In Badminton, India’s Kidambi Srikanth advanced to the second round of Malaysia Open at Kuala Lumpur. He defeated World number five, Indonesian Jonatan Christie in the Opening round yesterday.
Srikanth will next face former world number one Hong Kong’s NG Ka Long Angus in the pre-quarterfinals. Women’s Doubles pair Ashwini Ponnappa and Tanisha Crasto also progressed to the second round after overpowering American duo Francesca Corbett and Allison Lee in the first round.
