Cold to Severe Cold Day condition is likely to continue over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, and Rajasthan during the next two days. India Meteorological Department (IMD) has said that the minimum temperatures will be in the range of 6 to 9 degree celsius over these states and UT.
It has been forecast that dense to very dense fog is likely to continue over Northwest India during next two days and will gradually decrease thereafter.
The weather office has also predicted light to moderate rainfall at some places over Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Lakshadweep during the next 4 to 5 days. IMD said a fresh rainfall spell with thunderstorms and hailstorms over Rajasthan and West Madhya Pradesh is likely from Monday.
