Visakahapatnam: Minor changes in zoo park holidays: Open to public on Mondays, every Tuesday declared as a holiday

Indira Gandhi Zoological Park, Visakhapatnam, has changed its regular holiday schedule for the convenience of visitors. Effective from January 1, 2024, the zoo will be open to public on Mondays and closed on Tuesdays, said Dr. Nandani Salaria, IFS, Curator, IGZP.

This modification aims to better accommodate the preferences and schedules of zoo visitors keeping long weekends in view. We believe that shifting our regular holiday to Tuesday will provide increased accessibility and flexibility for visitors, said Curator, IGZP. All the visitors please take note of this change and plan your trip accordingly, said Curator.
