Uttar Pradesh Forest: A tigress captured in Atkona village was successfully released back into Pilibhit Tiger Reserve

The tigress that was captured in Atkona village was successfully released back into the wild (core zone of Pilibhit Tiger Reserve) with a radio collar for monitoring, following a thorough health examination.

The Divisional Forest Officer Naveen Khandelwal informed that the investigation confirmed the tigress’s excellent health, and the release was carried out under the directives of the National Tiger Conservation Authority.
