Amit Shah Reviews Poll Results in Telangana, Sets Focus on Upcoming Lok Sabha Elections
Union Home Minister Amit Shah held a meeting with key party leaders in Hyderabad and reviewed the recently concluded Assembly election results of the State party unit and the governance of the new Congress government.
Shah directed the State BJP leaders to focus on the upcoming Lok Sabha elections and advised them to achieve better results by working in coordination. Union Minister and State BJP President Kishan Reddy, Party State in-charge Tarun Chug, Party’s National Vice-President DK Aruna, MP Bandi Sanjay, RS MP Laxman, former MLA Etala Rajender, Party National leaders Muralidhar Rao and Garikapati among others participated in the meeting.
Mr Shah later visited Bhagyalakshmi temple at Charminar and offered prayers. Later, Mr Shah proceeded to a Convention Hall at Ibrahimpatnam in Ranga Reddy district to participate in the BJP State level meeting this evening.
This is Shah’s first visit to the state after the recently concluded Assembly polls in Telangana. Mr Shah will review the party’s performance in the recent Assembly polls and also chalk out the roadmap for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.
