PM Modi Releases First Series of Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya’s Collected Works
Prime Minister Narendra Modi today released the first series of Collected Works of Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya in New Delhi. Addressing the gathering after the release, Prime Minister Modi said that the collected works will open a door to understand the freedom struggle movement for research scholars, students from political science and history. He added that the collected works will also benefit the youth of the country and the upcoming generation in a big way.
While throwing light on the works of Malviya’s works, the Prime Minister said it highlights the incidents of setting up of Benaras Hindu University, interaction with the top leadership of Congress of that time and his firm opinion towards the Britishers. Mr. Modi added that one of the volumes also consist of his personal diary.
The Prime Minister said, people like Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya are born ones in a lifetime and generations are indebted to him. He said, Mahamana was a confluence of modern thinking and Sanatan culture. He played a pivotal role in freedom struggle movement as well as an active role in awakening the spirituality in the country.
Lauding his foresightedness, Mr. Modi said, Madan Mohan Malviya had one vision on present challenges as well as on building the future. Prime Minister said Mahamana always gave priority to the country first. He further added that it is the privilege of the present government, that it bestowed Bharat Ratna upon Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya.
