PMO takes stock of relief and rehabilitation efforts in flood-hit Tamil Nadu

Prime Minister office on Sunday (24 December 2023) took stock of the relief and rehabilitation efforts in Tamil Nadu in post-flood situation. Sources said, a high level meeting was held in the PMO to take stock of the post-flood situation and supporting the state in this situation.

The officers of the PMO interacted with officials in Tamil Nadu to discuss relief and rehabilitation in the state post floods. During the meeting, they discussed any further need for deployment of NDRF as well as help including helicopters from armed forces. The visit of Inter Ministerial Central team to assess damage was also discussed.
