Anurag Singh Thakur to inaugurate Khelo India Youth Games in Tamil Nadu

Union Minister for Youth Affairs, Sports and Information & Broadcasting Anurag Singh Thakur will inaugurate the Khelo India Youth Games Tamil Nadu in Chennai today. The Minister will also launch the official logo, jersey, mascot, torch and theme song for the Games. 

Tamil Nadu Minister for Youth Welfare and Sports Development Udhayanidhi Stalin and renowned sports icons Chess Grand Master Vishwanathan Anand, Tokyo Olympian Fencer Bhavani Devi, Squash star Joshna Chinappa and Hockey Asia Cup bronze medalist S. Mareeswaran will be present on the occasion.

The 6th edition of the Khelo India Youth Games is scheduled from January 19th to 31st in the coming year. The previous five editions of the Youth Games were held in Delhi, Pune, Guwahati, Panchkula and Bhopal. The upcoming edition will take place in four cities of Tamil Nadu – Chennai, Trichy, Madurai, and Coimbatore.

The Minister will also inaugurate the MY Bharat Program and will flag off the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra at Meenambakkam. He will address the social media influencers on the nine years of Governance, and activate MY Bharat Yatra.
