Andhra Pradesh: Several Union Ministers participated in Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra Programmes
Several Union Ministers participated in the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra Programmes organised at various districts in Andhra Pradesh on Saturday.
Union Minister of State for Women and Child Development & AYUSH, Dr. Mahendrabhai Munjapara took part in the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra organised in Renigunta Railway Function Hall of Tirupati District.
Speaking on the occasion, the Union Minister said that the Central Government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is implementing several welfare schemes for the benefit of the citizens. He added that around 23,000 IEC vans are touring in various parts of the country publicising the Central Government Schemes and he appealed to the eligible citizens to avail the benefits of the schemes.
A. Narayana Swamy, Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment participated in the programme organised in Tallapalem Village, Kasimkota Mandal of Anakapalli District. Speaking on the occasion, the Union Minister said that the Central Government is providing nutritious food, quality education, health facilities, safe drinking water, employment opportunities and enhancing the living standards of the people.
In Nadakuduru of Kakinada District, Som Parkash, Minister of State for Commerce and Industry inaugurated the IEC material stall during the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra. Speaking on the occasion, Union Minister said that the goal of the Yatra is to raise awareness and facilitate delivery of the welfare scheme benefits to all eligible persons and to do away with the feeling of neglect among crores of citizens.
Devusinh Chauhan, Ministry of State for Communication participated in the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra programme organised in Kodumuru Rural, Kurnool District. He said that the Yatra aims at focusing on reaching the vulnerable population, to achieve saturation of schemes of Government of India, across the country covering all Gram Panchayats, Nagar Panchayats and Urban Local Bodies.
During the programmes, the Ministers flagged off the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra vans and released the IEC materials highlighting various central government schemes. They enumerated Union Government schemes like PM Ujjwala Yojana, PM Garib Kalyan Yojana, Ayushmann Bharat Scheme and asked all the people who are eligible but not enrolled to get their names registered. Ministers interacted with the beneficiaries and beneficiaries expressed happiness about receiving benefits under various Central Government schemes. District Officials, Nodal Officers and public were present on the occasion.
