Telangana: Huge response seen to Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra at Chinna Golkonda in Samshabad Mandal

In Telangana, a huge response was seen to the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra at Chinna Golkonda in Samshabad Mandal near Hyderabad on Saturday. The villagers thronged the stalls set up near the Grampanchayat building in the village.

Over a dozen women have enrolled for cooking gas connection under the PM Ujwala Yojana during the first hour even before the formal commencement of the campaign this evening. 

Former MP, Konda Visweswar Reddy who visited the village, said the first of its kind of programme, in which the government came to the doorsteps of the villagers, is a huge hit.

He said the beneficiaries themselves are creating awareness among the villagers. He said the benefits of the Ayushman Bharat and other health programmes are delivering the benefits directly to the people.

Telangana: Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra flags off at different districts

In Telangana, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra is being flagged off at different districts today. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be formally launching the campaign virtually this evening in the states where elections were held recently.

Meanwhile, Parliament Member Soyam Bapurao and Adilabad District Collector, Rahul Raj flagged off the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatara Van.

In Adilabad this morning. District Officials and beneficiaries also participated in the event. Speaking on the occasion, Mr Bapurao said the yatra will reach out to the last person in the society to extend the benefits of various schemes of government and create awareness among the people.

These audio-visual vans are, especially, creating awareness among people about the PM Awas Yojana, Atal Pension Yojana, MGNREGA, Interest-free loans, and agriculture-related schemes. The Yatra will continue in Adilabad district till the end of this month.   

Karimnagar Nodal official Anjaneyulu informed our reporter that the VBS yatra will touch upon over 300 villages in Karimnagar District. He said these campaign vehicles will create awareness among the people about central government schemes. The vans will be formally flagged off this evening.
