In Madhya Pradesh, designated Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav to take oath tomorrow.
Mr Mohan Yadav reached Raj Bhavan after being elected as the leader of the legislative party yesterday, he met Governor Mangubhai Patel and staked claim to form the government. The Governor has invited Mr Yadav to form the government.
Governor Mangu Bhai Patel accepted the resignation of the cabinet of outgoing Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan. In the BJP Legislative Party meeting yesterday, Mohan Yadav was nominated as the Chief Minister of the state. Along with Mr. Yadav, all senior leaders including former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan, former Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar, BJP National General Secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya, BJP State President Vishnudutt Sharma were present at the Raj Bhavan.
Two Deputy Chief Ministers also set to be appointed in Madhya Pradesh. The names of senior leader and Finance Minister in Shivraj government Jagdish Deora and Public Relations Minister Rajendra Shukla are nominated as the post of Deputy Chief Minister. But, both the leaders say that they do not have any information about the deputy chief minister’s post at the moment but whatever responsibility the party gives them, they will fulfill it with full responsibility.
The venue of the swearing-in ceremony and the number of ministers are likely to be decided today.
