MP: BJP’s newly-elected MLAs to meet in Bhopal today to elect legislature party leader

Political activities have intensified in Madhya Pradesh to elect a new Chief Minister.The BJP’s newly-elected MLAs in the state will meet on Monday in Bhopal to elect the legislature party leader.

Central observers appointed by the Party’s Parliamentary Board including Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, BJP OBC Morcha Chief K Laxman and National Secretary Asha Lakra will be present in the meeting.

The BJP secured a two-third majority in the state assembly, winning 163 of the 230 seats in the House, while Congress took 66 seats.
