Telangana: CM Revanth Reddy launches two schemes as part of six poll ‘guarantees’ of Congress
Chief Minister of Telangana, A Revanth Reddy said all six guarantees which were assured by the Congress party ahead of elections, will be implemented in 100 days.
He formally launched two guarantees, free Bus journey to women and increasing the free health facility up to 10 lakh rupees. Speaking at the formal launch programme on Saturday, he said his government will make the state a welfare state.
Under the Cheyutha scheme, the BPL families will get 10 lakh rupees worth free health services per annum per family. It may be known that over 90 lakh families are being benefited under the Rajiv Arogyasri scheme. 1672 types of packages and 646 procedures are available to the beneficiaries. It is also known that over 18 lakh beneficiaries received the treatment under the scheme since 2014.
Women, Girls and transgenders in the state will get a free journey in state owned RTC buses from today onwards. The facility will be applicable to journey through passenger and express buses within the state boundaries, he said.
