Telangana: Former CM KCR admitted to private hospital in Hyderabad

Telangana former chief minister and Bharat Rashtra Samiti chief K Chandrasekhar Rao has been admitted to a private hospital in Hyderabad after sustaining injuries from a fall. As per the family members, Mr Rao fell after his leg slipped at his Erravalli farmhouse last night.

The hospital in its health Bulletin said, he broke his left hip bone after the fall and requires surgery. He is currently undergoing treatment. The hospital further noted that the usual recovery course for which is expected to be six to eight weeks. Mr Rao, is under constant monitoring by a multi-disciplinary team. 

Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed concern over Mr Rao’s injury and expressed on social media platform X, that he was distressed to know that former CM of Telangana KCR Garu has suffered an injury. He prayed for his speedy recovery and good health.

Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy also enquired about health situation of Mr rao and asked the hospital authorities to take good care of his health.
