MP: Counting of votes for assembly elections to take place tomorrow

In Madhya Pradesh, counting of votes for the assembly elections will take place tomorrow. Two thousand 533 candidates, including 252 women, are in the fray for 230 seats of the state assembly. 

The political fate of two thousand 533 candidates including 252 will be decided tomorrow in Madhya Pradesh. All necessary measures have been put in place to ensure peaceful and error free counting of votes in all 230 seats. Chief Electoral Officer Anupam Rajan informed that Proper security arrangements have been made by the administration.

As per the information, postal ballot papers will be counted first at 8 am and after half an hour, EVMs will be opened. 14 to 21 numbers of counting tables have been set up according to the size of the Assembly seats. A three tier security system has been arranged by the administration including the deployment of the central forces.
