Jaipur: Counting of votes to start in Rajasthan tomorrow

All preparations have been completed for the counting of votes for the assembly elections in Rajasthan. Counting of votes will start at 8 AM tomorrow. Chief Electoral Officer of the state,  Praveen Gupta said that counting of votes will take place at 36 centers for 199 assembly constituencies. Counting of votes will be done at two centers each in Jaipur, Jodhpur and Nagaur and at one center each in the remaining 30 election districts. 

Counting of votes for Shiv Assembly constituency will take place in  maximum 41 rounds, while for Ajmer South the counting will be completed in just 14 rounds. Elaborate security arrangements have been made at the counting centers and its surrounding areas. 175 companies of Central Paramilitary Forces and RAC have been deployed for security.

Meanwhile, senior leaders of BJP and Congress have claimed that the next government will be formed by their party. At the same time, leaders of BSP, National Democratic Party and other parties have expressed hope that there will be a divided mandate in the state and no party will be able to form the government without their support.
