Visakhapatnam Zoo Park celebrates Jr. Dalapathi (Hippo) birthday

Indira Gandhi Zoological Park, Visakhapatnam, celebrated the 6th birthday of a hippopotamus named Junior Dalapathi in Vizag Zoo today. Jr. Dalapathi was born on November 26th, 2017 at Visakhapatnam Zoo. Junior Dalapathi is entertaining the visitors and children at the Zoo and giving them a new experience. On the occasion of his birthday, Junior Dalapathi was fed a special cake made out of his favourite watermelon, banana, carrot, and other vegetables and fruits.

After that, Curator Dr. Nandani Salaria, IFS, cut the cake and wished Jr. Dalapathi a happy birthday. All the children and visitors enthusiastically participated in this birthday celebration. This programme gave an unforgettable new experience to everyone who participated.

Vizag Zoo management would like to sincerely thank all the visitors who participated in the celebrations for making Jr. Dalapathi’s 6th birthday an unforgettable day. Assistant Curators Sh. Gopi, Sh.
