Telangana: Election campaign has reached its peak
In Telangana, the electioneering reached its peak as only a few days left for campaigning. The leaders from all major parties have crisscrossed various constituencies in support of their candidates.
Akashvani correspondent reports that public meetings, poll rallies, roadshows and door to door campaign marked the day in Telangana as top leadership of two National Parties, BJP and Congress took the campaigning to the peak.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP senior leader Amit Shah are campaigning for three days while Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is among the top leaders who campaigned for the party. BJP President J P Nadda held a road show in Musheerabad in support of the party candidate.
From Congress, star campaigners Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi besides AICC President Mallikharjun Kharge and Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar are among those who participated in the electioneering. BRS leader Harish Rao and K Tarakarama Rao held roadshows. The state is going to witness polling on 30th of this month for all 119 constituencies in the state.
