Telangana: Setting up a hospital in Nizamabad for beedi workers: Amit Shah promises in Armoor election campaign meeting

Senior BJP leader and Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday (24 November 2023) addressed a public meeting in Armoor as part of his election campaign for the assembly elections in Telangana.

Speaking on the occasion, he said, a hospital for beedi workers will be set up in Nizamabad. Mr Shah said, the Centre is setting up a turmeric board for the farmers.

The Home Minister said farmers will get remunerative prices through the board. On the other hand, Senior Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi said, the time and opportunity has come to change the BRS government which has not benefited the people.

Meanwhile, BRS chief and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao promised to increase Rythu Bandhu assistance to 16,000 rupees when the BRS government comes back to power.
