Our correspondent reports that one of the key attractions at the pavilion is the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana stall. Ayushman Bharat cards are being created for several visitors through a five-step online process. The stall has been set up with the aim of creating awareness about the scheme and providing free healthcare to more people.
The ministry stated that as of now 27 crore Ayushman cards have already been generated under the scheme. The health pavilion also features the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission which is a flagship scheme of the government to create a digital health ecosystem.
Under this scheme, Ayushman Bharat Health Accounts (ABHA) are being generated for beneficiaries. The account is a fourteen-digit unique health identifier that enables access to digital health services and health record storage. According to the health ministry, 48 crore ABHA accounts have already been created. The visitors can also avail the facility of free health check-ups at the pavilion.
