PCCF Madhusudana Reddy inaugurates 4 new enclosures constructed by IOCL CER activities at IGZP, Visakhapatnam
Mr. Y. Madhusudana Reddy,PCCF (HoFF), Andhra Pradesh has inaugurated 4 newly constructed animal enclosures today in the presence of Sri Sanjay Kumar Vasudevan, Executive Director, SERPL, IOCL Bubaneswar.
These new structures have been undertaken as part of CER (Corporate Environmental Responsibility) funds provided by Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL).
The renovated African parrots aviary has been developed and glass displays have been installed to give a better experience and visibility to the visitors. In addition to these, additional night houses for striped hyena, New Himalayan black bear enclosure and rhinoceros additional night house have also been constructed to accommodate additional animals in Vizag zoo in collaboration with IOCL.
Sri Y. Madhusudhana Reddy, IFS, PCCF (HoFF) thanked the SERPL, IOCL management for coming forward for the wellbeing of animals and development of Vizag Zoo. We are committed to contribute more towards the conservation of animals and development of Vizag Zoo, said Sri Sanjay Kumar Vasudevan, Executive Director, SERPL, IOCL.
Dr. Nandani Salaria, Curator, IGZP, Smt. Mangamma, DCF, IGZP, Zoo Veterinary Doctors Sri Phaneendra, Sri Purushottam, Assistant Curators Sri Gopi, Sri Gopala Naidu, Forest Section Officers Smt. Bharti, Sri Rajeswara Rao, Zoo Education Team and IOCL staff participated in the program.
