In Telangana, the electioneering in the poll-bound State is reaching its peak with top leaders of major political parties taking up election campaigning. Union Home Minister and BJP senior leader Amit Shah will be releasing the Party manifesto for the State this evening.

He will also address Sakala Janula Sankalpa Sabhas, at Gajwel, Nalgonda and Warangal east constituencies as part of his electioneering in support of the Party candidates.

Earlier, Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Chief K Chandrasekhar Rao addressed public meetings at Karimnagar, Choppadandi, Huzurabad and Parkal. BRS party senior leaders Harish Rao and Taraka Ramarao also undertook rallies and roadshows campaigning for the party.

Meanwhile, the top leaders of Congress, BJP, and the ruling BRS have intensified their campaign and making whirl-wind tours to various constituencies touching all corners of the state to woo electors.

Congress star campaigner Rahul Gandhi addressed public meetings, held road shows, undertook Padayatra and spoke in corner meetings yesterday. He utilised every opportunity to reply to the BRS criticism that Congress had done nothing.

Mr Gandhi said the schools, in which they studied and the roads on which they travelled, were built by Congress. He said in Pinapaka in Khammam district that the BRS corruption is seen in every corner of the State.

He assured that the people’s government would be set up in Telangana and Chief Minister and Ministers would start listening to public grievances soon after assuming power.

The congress star campaigner sipped Chai on a roadside tea stall during his Padayatra in Warangal East constituency and interacted with the local people.
