Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah releases BC declaration of Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee at Kamareddy

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah released Backward Castes (BC) declaration of the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee at Kamareddy in the election bound Telangana. He took part in electioneering for Congress candidates in Kamareddy district on Friday.

Congress has assured in the declaration that BC reservations will be increased based on caste census and BC commission’s report, within 6 months on assuming power.
 
The party also assured to increase the BC reservations in local bodies from 23 per cent to 42 per cent and assured of an annual spending of 20 thousand crore rupees on BC welfare. The party also assured 42 per cent quota for BCs in government, civil construction and maintenance contracts.

It also assured Mahatma Jyothiba Phule BC sub plan to be given statutory status. It also assured that one new Gurukulam Education institute will be setup in each mandal, similar to the Navodaya Vidyalaya.
