First Bharat Gaurav Train originating from Andhra Pradesh to start from 18th Nov 2023

The train connects Seven Jyotirlingas and statue of Unity in Western & Northern India.

It is operated by IRCTC and provides boarding / de-boarding facility to passengers at nominated stations of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Maharashtra

The theme-based circuit trains introduced by Indian Railways with the name of “Bharat Gaurav” tourist trains has been a huge success across South Central Railway. The earlier trains which were operated from the zone have received huge patronage with the consistent 100% occupancy in almost all trains.

Motivated by this, Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has planned new Bharat Gaurav train originating from Andhra Pradesh for the first time duly having boarding/deboarding places in Telangana and Maharashtra. This tourist circuit train will cover important Jyotirlinga destinations and also statue of Unity situated in Western & Northern parts of India.

As part of this, IRCTC has announced a new tourist package namely “Sapta Jyotirlinga Darshan Yatra with Statue of Unity” Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train starting from Vijayawada Railway Station. The train will cover famous Jyotirlinga destinations & Statue of Unity in Northern and Western parts of the country, while providing boarding / de-boarding facility at seven important enroute stations in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Maharashtra.

The boarding / de-boarding facility is provided at Vijayawada in AP, Khammam, Kazipet, Secunderabad & Nizamabad in Telangana, Nanded and Purna in Maharashtra. The train will cover important pilgrim places like Ujjain (Mahakaleswar & Omkareshwar), Vadodara (Statue of Unity), Dwaraka, Somnath, Nasik (Triambakeshwar), Pune (Bhima Shankar) and Aurangabad (Grishneswar Temple).

The whole trip will be covered over a period of 12 nights / 13 days period. It includes all travel facilities (including both rail as well as road transport), accommodation facility, catering arrangements (Morning Tea, Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner – both On-Board and Off-Board), Services of professional and friendly tour escorts,

Thus, it is helpful in avoiding the difficulties involved in individual planning and related arrangements. Security on train (including CCTV Cameras installed in all Coaches), Public announcement facility in all coaches, Travel insurance and presence of IRCTC Tour Managers throughout the travel for assistance is provided in the journey.
