Deepavali Utsav 2023 Lights Up UAE with central theme Unity in Diversity

The Festival of Lights, Diwali, illuminated the Etisalat Academy in Dubai as Friends of India (FOI) hosted the grand Deepavali Utsav 2023.

The central theme, “Unity in Diversity,” epitomized India’s cultural richness. Consul General of India, Satish Kumar Sivan, inaugurated the event, along with Mr. S Venkatesh and Mr. Viswajith N Nambiar from FOI.  
       
With over 10,000 UAE residents and tourists, accompanied by their families, the Deepavali Utsav 2023 was a resounding success. The event featured live performances by renowned artists, representing various languages, alongside traditional Indian games and folk dance performances from over 15 Indian states. Food stalls offered culinary delights from various regions of India, creating a multicultural feast for the senses.
