Eluru: Public Awareness Program on Creation of Sensitive Eco Area around Kolleru Sanctuary from Nov 14 to 16
Preparations for organization of awareness conference in Tahsildar offices in Kolleru area: Eluru District Collector, Kolleru Sanctuary Sensitive Environment District Committee Chairman V. Prasanna Venkatesh has called for all the people of Kontur area to participate in the awareness conference.
In a statement on Tuesday, Eluru District Collector and Kolleru Sanctuary Sensitive Ecological Area District Committee Chairman V. Prasanna Venkatesh said that a three-day public awareness program will be held from 14th to 16th of this month on the creation of a sensitive ecological area around Kolleru Sanctuary.
He stated that village meetings will be held in Unguthuru, Bhimadolu, Nidamarru, Denduluru, Pedapadu, Kaikaluru, Mandavalli and Aakiveedu mandals under Kolleru sanctuary to create awareness in this regard.
It has been revealed that preparations are being made to organize public awareness programs in the Tahsildar offices in the respective mandals.
In a statement issued by the Wildlife Management Department of Eluru, the Collector asked all the people in the Kantur area to participate in the awareness sessions.
