Telangana: Security arrangements beef up on border areas along Chhattisgarh and MH borders to ensure free and fair polls in state
In Telangana, security arrangements have been beefed up, especially on border areas along the Chhattisgarh and Maharashtra borders to ensure free and fair polls in the state.
Though the activities of the outlawed CPI Maoists in the state were almost nullified in the last few years, the police are not leaving no stone unturned to ensure the safety and security of the people in Jayashankar Bhupalpally and Mulugu districts.
Both the districts have been at the centre of police strategies which aimed at preventing any potential Maoist movements through the neighbouring forested areas.
Mulugu local police along with the central armed police forces have recently conducted a visit to the Maoist-affected areas in the SS Tadwai Mandal. They interacted with the local tribal communities and assured them of comprehensive security measures for ensuring smooth electoral process.
