Assam: Bhutan king Jigme Khesar Namgyal Wangchuk undertakes jeep safari at Kaziranga national park

Bhutan king Jigme Khesar Namgyal Wangchuk has undertaken jeep safari at the UNESCO world heritage site Kaziranga national park in Assam on Saturday (4th November 2023).

On the second day of this visit to Assam, Bhutan King witnessed the flora and fauna of the park at the Kohora range. Several senior Assam government officials accompanied him in the jeep safari.

A cultural program has also been  held at the Kaziranga Convention Centre in his honor. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma attended the cultural program where the rich traditional culture of the state was showcased.
