Telangana: Police seized 4.69 Cr cash day before issuance of notification for State Assembly Elections

In Telangana, police seized 4 crore 69 lakh rupees cash a day before issuance of notification for the State Assembly Elections. This took the total cash seizure to over 156 crore rupees ever since the announcement of Election schedule on 9th of last month.

With this the total seizures, in the state, including the non cash, have gone up to over 439 crore rupees. The law enforcement agencies also seized liquor worth over 49 crore rupees, drugs worth over 24 crore rupees, gold worth 165 crore rupees and free bees like vehicles, TVs and other appliances worth over 43 crore rupees.
