Union Home Minister Amit Shah has announced that the BJP will make a leader from the backward classes, the Chief Minister of Telangana if the Party is voted to power in the State.

Addressing Jan Garjhana Sabha at Suryapat in Telangana last evening, he made this announcement and challenged the BRS, to make a Dalit leader as Chief Minister, as the Party’s assurance for the same remained unfulfilled.

Mr Shah alleged that both Congress and BRS are family-centric and will do no good for the people of the State. He also questioned why BRS could not implement its assurance of allocating three acres of land to Dalit Families and allocation of 50 thousand crore rupees for Dalit Welfare in the State.

Recalling the measures taken by the Centre for the welfare of farmers, Mr. Shah said a huge amount of funds have been released for Telangana State. He also informed that the Pran Prathishta ceremony at Ayodhya Rama Mandir will be held in January next year.
