Partial Lunar eclipse to visible across India

A partial lunar eclipse will occur tonight. The eclipse will be visible across India. The India Meteorological Department said the lunar eclipse will begin post-midnight at 01.05 AM and will continue till 02.24 AM. The duration of the lunar eclipse will be of 1.19 hours.

The lunar eclipse will also be visible in countries across Asia, Europe, Africa, Eastern-South America, and Australia among others. The lunar eclipse is a celestial event that occurs when the Earth passes directly between the Sun and the Moon casting its shadow on the Moon’s surface.
