New governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu arrives to hearty welcome at airport and Raj Bhawan
Indra Sena Reddy Nallu assumes the role of Governor after the departure of his predecessor, Satyadeo Narain Arya, who held the position from July 2021. Arya received a farewell and his ceremonial guard of honour on Monday. President Droupadi Murmu had appointed Nallu Indrasena Reddy as the Governor of Tripura on October 18.
Tripura’s newly appointed governor Sri Indrasena Reddy Nallu today arrived at Agartala to take over his new charge following the end of tenure of governor Satyadeo Narayan Arya.
He was warmly received at the airport by chief minister Dr Manik Saha, minister for food Sushanta Chowdhury, industry minister Santana Chakma , tribal welfare minister Bikash Debbarma and BJP state president Rajeev Bhattacharjee and a host of senior officials including the chief secretary J.K.Sinha and DGP Amitava Ranjan.
The VVIPs also accompanied the governor to the Raj Bhawan. He will be administered the oath of office and secrecy in a simple ceremony at the Raj Bhawan by the chief justice of Tripura high court Aparesh Kumar Sinha
