BJP terms Medigadda barrage as world’s greatest irrigation blunder
BJP has termed Medigadda barrage as world’s greatest irrigation blunder and demanded the Telangana state government to undertake a comprehensive probe over the safety of the barrage.
Addressing a press conference in Hyderabad this evening, BJP state president Kishan Reddy asked the state government to invite Dam Safety Authority immediately and take all precautions to avoid any untoward incident.
Mr Reddy accused the state government of not allowing engineers to examine the pillars of Lakshmi barrage at Medigadda, a portion of which allegedly caved-in slightly.
