Arctic Open Badminton: P.V. Sindhu to take on China’s Wang Zhi Yi today in women singles semifinals in Finland

In Arctic Open Badminton, India’s P.V. Sindhu will next take on world No 11 China’s Wang Zhi Yi today in the semifinals of women’s singles at Vantaa Energia Areena in Finland.

Yesterday, the 8th seed stormed into the semifinals defeating Vietnam’s Thuy Linh Nguyen in quarter-finals. Sindhu defeated world number 26 Thuy Linh Nguyen in a 90 -minute thriller.

Former world champion and two-time Olympic medalist P.V. Sindhu is aiming for her first BWF title of the 2023 badminton season.
