Chief of Naval Staff Admiral R. Hari Kumar addresses NSG Raising Day Counter-Terrorism Seminar in New Delhi
Chief of Naval Staff Admiral R. Hari Kumar has said that the first line of defence against any subconscious threat is timely and accurate intelligence. He was addressing the NSG Raising Day Counter Terrorism Seminar with State Special Forces in New Delhi today.
Admiral Hari Kumar emphasized on four ‘I’s – Intelligence, Innovation, Integration, and Inter-agency coordination. He said, that in recent years, the country has become more adept at gathering and using intelligence.
The Navy Chief said, the G-SAT 7 for the Indian Navy is one such example that has allowed to transfer of imagery in real-time over secure networks. He stressed on the need to continue working closely towards enabling seamless exchange of information.
The Navy chief said, the character of war is changing and the future is hinged on cooperative efforts to fight challenges that threaten the nation.
