Telangana: TS-RTC introduces 25 Electric Green Metro Luxury AC buses in Hyderabad
The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TS-RTC) has introduced 25 Electric Green Metro Luxury AC buses in Hyderabad yesterday to facilitate environment-friendly commuting in the city.
State Transport Minister P Ajay Kumar formally inaugurated the fleet, and it will be made available for city commuters from 23rd of this month.
Speaking on the occasion, the minister said, commuting services are being improved and connected with the metro services and soon all types of travel will be done with a single card.
He said, though the electric era is going-on all over the world, the use of electric vehicles is still less in the country compared to others. The fleet is part of a total of 50 green Metro Luxury AC services.
