Asia Cup: Rain hampers India-Pakistan Super 4 match at Colombo: Play to resume on reserve day
In Asia Cup Cricket, rain stopped the Super 4s clash between India and Pakistan in Colombo. Finally decided Play to resume on reserve day.
Earlier, put into bat, the Men in Blue were 147 for 2 in 24.1 when rain stopped the play. Pakistan had won the toss and opted to bowl. This is the third fixture of the Super 4 matches in the tournament.
A reserve day has been incorporated for the Super 4s match between India and Pakistan if adverse weather suspends play during today’s game. The match will continue on 11th September 2023 from the point it is suspended.
In the 2nd Super 4 match last night, Sri Lanka beat Bangladesh by 21 runs in Colombo. In the first Super 4 match on Wednesday, Pakistan defeated Bangladesh by seven wickets.
