Telangana: Very heavy rains lash several parts of the state

In Telangana, very heavy rains lashed several parts of the State since yesterday. Some places in Mahabubnagar, Rangareddy Suryapet districts received very heavy rains while Janampet of Mahabubnagar recorded the highest rainfall of 147.5 mm till 5 AM this morning.

Meanwhile, several parts of Hyderabad started receiving heavy rain in the early hours today. Meanwhile, IMD has predicted heavy rains in Telangana for the next three days.

The officials issued a Yellow alert stating that several parts of the State are likely to receive heavy rains and an Orange alert for very heavy rains likely in many places tomorrow and the day after.
