In Asia Cup Cricket, India will clash with arch-rivals Pakistan in a Group-A match at Pallekele in Sri Lanka today. The match is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m.
Indian Standard Time. The two sides last played an ODI four years ago when they faced each other at the ICC World Cup.

Pakistan is coming off a victory over Nepal which will boost its confidence. On the other hand, the full strength Indian side is confident with the top order having shown consistent performance in recent times. With Jasprit Bumrah back in action, the bowling unit will also be something to watch for.
However, rain may play spoil sport as the Sri Lanka’s department of meteorology has issued a rain red alert for a major part of the island including Kandy. According to the rules set by the International Cricket Council (ICC), if the match is abandoned or does not start due to adverse weather conditions, the points get segregated equally between the two teams, which means both India and Pakistan will receive one point each.
