Telangana: TSREDCO celebrates 77th Independence Day
The 77th Independence Day celebrations were held at the head office of Telangana State Renewable Energy Development Corporation (TS REDCO) in Khairatabad, Hyderabad. Chairman Y. Satish Reddy attended the program as the chief guest and raised the national flag.
Speaking on this occasion, he said that today we have got freedom as a result of the sacrifice of many heroes. He said that it is the responsibility of everyone to convey the life stories of the freedom fighters who worked for it to the coming generations.
It is with the spirit of freedom that our chief minister and movement leader KCR started the special Telangana state movement. He said that the development lost in 60 years was achieved in 9 years and stood as the leader in the country.
He said that if the per capital electricity consumption was 1100 units when Telangana state came into being, today it has increased to 2100 units. It is a source of pride for everyone that the per capital income has increased from 25,000 to 3,800.
Mr. Janaiah, Vice Chairman & Managing Director of Telangana State Renewable Energy Development Corporation (TSREDCO) said in this program that the state is advancing in development with the spirit of independence. This is evidenced by the increase in per capital income and per capital electricity consumption. He called everyone to work for pollution control.
MD Mr. Janaiah called upon every household to start pollution control from their homes. He wanted to become a country without carbon emissions. GM Mr. Prasad, company officials and staff participated in this program.
