Singareni: Rs. 700 Cr profit bonus payment to workers soon: CMD N. Sridhar at Independence Day celebrations
Mr. N. Sridhar CMD, SCCL said that among the more than 200 public sector organizations in the country, the Singareni organization is progressing and working dedicated to the service of the country with the most outstanding progress, and it is working with the same trend and is moving forward with the goal of achieving 12 new mines, 100 million tons of coal production and a turnover of Rs. 50 thousand crores in the next five years.
He was the chief guest at the Independence Day celebrations held at Singareni Bhawan, Hyderabad on Tuesday and addressed the employees on the occasion of hoisting the national flag.
Telangana State Chief Minister Shri Kalvakuntla Chandrasekhara Rao said that in the last 9 years, no public sector organization in the country has achieved turnover and profits. He said that Singareni had earned a profit of Rs 2,222 crore last year, which had only made a profit of Rs 419 crore in 2013-14 before the advent of Telangana. Also, before the arrival of Telangana, 83 crore rupees were paid as profit bonus to the workers.
The Chief Minister of the state recently praised the progress of the Singareni organization in the Legislative Assembly and also announced the payment of one thousand crore rupees including profit bonus and Diwali bonus to the workers. On this occasion, he announced that as per the CM’s orders, a profit bonus of 700 crore rupees will be distributed before the Dussehra festival.

CMD Mr. N. Sridhar honored the current General Manager (Coordination) Mr. M. Suresh, who worked as a GM in various areas for the past three and a half decades and worked for the development of the company. Also Liaison and Protocol Officer Mr. S. General Manager (Co-ordination) Mr. M. Suresh said that Singareni Company came into being 13 decades ago but after the formation of Telangana State, under the talented leadership of the young Chairman and MD Mr. N. Sridhar, it has achieved unprecedented growth in history.
Mr. M. Suresh, General Manager (Co-ordination) said that the public sector has become the number-1 organization in the country and with this same spirit, the General Manager (Co-ordination) should re-engage in the service of the country. He spoke at the Independence Day celebration program held in the afternoon at Singareni Bhawan, Hyderabad.
