NMDC launches Customer Portal and Product Brochure

Hyderabad, 31 July 2023: NMDC,India’s largest producer of iron ore launched its Customer Portal – Darpantoday at its Head office. Shri Amitava Mukherjee, CMD (Additional Charge) led the launch in the presence of Shri DK Mohanty, Director (Production); Shri Vishwanath Suresh, Director (Commercial) and other senior officials of the company.

NMDC’s initiative to launch its Customer Portal is a strategic progression towards expanding its mines and evacuation capacity as the company strives to serve existing and potential customers from the industry. Darpan will provide a one stop solution in facilitating faster and smoother transactions for its customers, ensuring transparency and accountability.

Speaking on the occasion, Shri Amitava Mukherjee, CMD (Additional Charge), NMDC said, “As one of India’s mining giants, it is NMDC’s responsibility to execute its futuristic vision of foraying into expansion plans that boost the country’s economy, including digital initiatives that enhance customer interface experience.  Darpanportal is an excellent opportunity to connect with our customers. With the help of the portal, they can now simply log on and raise their request or provide feedback from a single touchpoint.”

Commenting on the above, Shri DK Mohanty, Director (Production) said, “The NMDC customer portal will be an ideal platform to fastrack business processes and help the customers identify and track deliverables which will definitely increase efficiency in our operations.”

Shri Vishwanath Suresh, Director (Commercial) said, “NMDC is committed to building a transparent ecosystem. To achieve that, necessary steps and initiatives have been adopted to promote transparency and address issues that strengthen our approach towards customer satisfaction.”

NMDC also launched its Product Brochure that documents the latest advancements undertaken by the Companyincluding product specifications from Bailadila and Donimalai, ESG and sustainability initiatives.
